Hurricane Relief Drive

I’m leaving on Monday, October 14th to head to the Atlanta Apparel Show for a buying trip. On my home I will be staying at my parents-in-law’s home that is located directly south of the devastation in Western NC. Their community has trucks with supplies running daily to the Asheville area and I am planning to fill my car with donations. If you would like to donate please feel free to drop off items at adorn this week from Tuesday, October 8th - Saturday, October 12th during regular hours (with the exception of Friday between 3-6 when I will close early while the artists are setting up downtown). I will also be open Sunday the 13th from 12-5pm during the Fall Foliage Festival so feel free to bring in items that day too. The folks delivering are asking specifically for the following:

• feminine hygiene products

• sweaters (used is fine)

• warm socks

• beanies/warm hats

It is forecast to start getting very cold down there at night (40s this week and 30s the following week). I will be driving my station wagon with my carrier on top so the above items are ones that I know I can cram in a lot of in the space I’m working with so please stick to this list if you are wanting to contribute to this particular drive.
